Funeral Service for Erma Paishon, 96, formerly of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Erma Paishon was born in Mena, Arkansas on her father’s birthday, December 18, 1926 and was the fourth child of Argia and Maudie Mae Wheat and passed away on December 19, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a member of Muldrow First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Survivors are daughter, Mary McBride and Robert of Choctaw, OK; son, Richard Magnuson and Brandy of Midwest City, OK; 15 grandchildren, Robert McBride, Jr., Steven McBride, Aaron McBride, Madison McBride, Kindra Blaylock, Krista Alzate, Rachell Russell, Laureen Pierce-Cortez, Michelle Klasser, Marsha Black, Samantha James, Joshua Magnuson, Jacob Magnuson, Jesse Magnuson and Sierra Magnuson; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Zella Wheat Slinger of Iowa, Vangie Wheat Shaw Ruckman of Tulsa, OK and Carolyn Wheat; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward James Magnuson; second husband, Lawrence Paishon; her parents; two sons, Edward J. Magnuson, Jr. and Lawrence Paishon, Jr.; one daughter, Kathy Paishon; three sisters, Gertrude, Margie and Lois Renee; and three brothers, Branson, Douglas and Dempsey.

Active Pallbearers will be Robert McBride, Steven McBride, Aaron McBride, Joshua Magnuson, Jacob Magnuson and Jesse Magnuson.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 6 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 4 – 6 PM.
