Funeral Service for Ethylee (Harvell) Farmer, 97, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on July 23, 1926 in Camp Creek Community in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Pearl May (Ruckman) Harvell and Horace Adolphus "Dink" Harvell, and passed away on May 20, 2024. After graduating Muldrow High School, she went to work at Fort Smith Couch and Bedding, where she worked as a seamstress until 1968. She then bought her own upholstery sewing machine, and worked from home for many more years, or as she said "until she was 73 years old!"
She married her beloved husband, Charles E. Farmer on May 10, 1946, and they were happily married for 60 years before his death. She was a founding and faithful member of the Muldrow First Assembly of God Church. She dearly loved her family and her church, and was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and auntie.
Survivors are one daughter, Clovis Elaine and husband, Steven Titus, of Tulsa, OK; two sons, Charles Randall Farmer and wife, Robin, of Muldrow, OK and Tommy Kemp and wife, Kim, of Muldrow, OK; four grandsons, Charles Brandon Farmer, John Smith, Matthew Titus and Ryan Titus; one granddaughter, Shannon Kemp Chandler; one great-granddaughter, Caden Tharrington; one sister-in-law, Louise Harvell; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Farmer; and five siblings, Wilma Edwards, Delmer (Bee) Harvell, Charlene Howard, Kenneth Dale Harvell and Jaunell Harvell Gillespie.
Active Pallbearers will be Scott Harvell, Kevin Harvell, Barry Harvell, Lance Harvell, Grayson Harvell, Darrell Edwards, Mike Howard and Clark Harvell.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Eddie George.
Viewing will be Noon - 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 5 - 7 PM.
