Services for Eugene W. Day, 89 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on November 16, 1929 in Oklahoma to Meady Rose Day and Shelvy Day and passed away on July 29, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.  He was married to Anna May (Raney) Day on January 22, 1948 in Van Buren, Arkansas.  She preceded him in death on February 3, 2013.  Mr. Day was a mechanic and gas station owner/operator and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Survivors are:

1 son and daughter in law: Shelvy and Cheryl Day of Bullhead City, AZ;

1 granddaughter: Debra Ann Day of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sisters in law: Patricia Carlile and Susan Risley;

He was preceded in death by his wife: Anna Day, parents: Meady and Shelvy Day, 3 sisters: Judy Kidd, Ella Miles and Geneva Harvell and 1 brother: Immon Day

Active Pallbearers will be Patrick Bagley, Dennis Day, John Risley, Dallas Allen, Jamie Day, Rocky Raney and Kevin Harvell.

Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
