Eulice Leonard Standridge passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 98. Eulice was born on December 16, 1919 in Moore, Arkansas to Albert and Ida Standridge. He was the third of six children. When he was nine years old, the family moved from Arkansas to Porter, Oklahoma. On April 21, 1941, he married Mary Belle Wolfe. Eulice and Mary moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma so he could attend barber school. He later opened his own barbershop in Haskell, Oklahoma. They had two children, Mary Lee Standridge and Harley Roy Standridge (who sadly was killed in Vietnam on Eulice’s birthday in 1967). Eulice later moved to Temple, Oklahoma and opened a machine shop. Shortly after Mary’s death, Eulice retired and moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma. In 1989 Eulice married Marie Logue and moved to Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Eulice was brother to Oscar, Opal, Gertrude, and Reece (all deceased) and to Verley Kirksey (of Redwood City, California). He is survived by sister, Verly, whom Eulice affectionately called “Pie”; his daughter, Mary Lee of Tahlequah, OK; his grandson, David of Hastings, OK; and his stepdaughter and her husband, Teresa and Randy Morton.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
