She was born on January 28, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Alpha B. (Cullum) Woody and Truman Woody and passed away on August 15, 2023 in Gore, Oklahoma. She was married to J.C. Fields on July 9, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2017. She was a seamstress, a cook at Central Public Schools and worked at the Sallisaw Nutrition Center. Jeannette enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family and friends.
Survivors are three step-daughters, Mary Jean and David Massengale of Spiro, OK, Johnnie Larae and David Lumbley of Karnak, IL and Donna Kay and Mark Schofield of Stroud, OK; two brothers, Newton Woody of Spencer, OK and Dewey and Annie Woody of Delaware, AR; five grandchildren, Kaylee Reed and Anthony of Muldrow, OK, Jeremiah and Justin Crase both of Bokoshe, OK, Raymond Kyle Reed and Timilee Baldridge-Ohler both of Sallisaw, OK; five great-grandchildren, Forrest “Fj” and Fysher Crawford both of Muldrow, OK and Kamiya Christie of Muldrow, OK, and Hadlee and Twiliah Crase both of Bokoshe, OK; two sons-in-law, Jerry Crase of Bokoshe, OK and Charles Allen of Sallisaw, OK; one daughter-in-law, Jennifer Ohler and Steven of Sallisaw, OK; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Fields; daughter, Jessica Crase; son, Kennith Reed; and one step-daughter, Alene Allen.
