She was born on December 25, 1946 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Ida Bell (Norwood) England and Everette England and passed this life on April 1, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas after a very long and courageous 24-year fight of cancer. She was married to Lee Harold Blackman on January 19, 1967 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2013. She was of the Baptist faith and a true soldier of the Lord. She loved being outside in the sunshine working in her yard and mowing "that imaginary grass" every day. She always had the best summer-tanned legs with white flip-flop marks on her tiny feet, riding her little bubble mower waving at all her neighbors. She was a blessing to anyone who knew her, and if you knew her very long, you knew her as "Aunt Bo."
