Funeral Service for Farron Ray Brunk, 66, of Van Buren, Arkansas will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Lee’s Chapel Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on October 10, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Norma Sue (Jackson) Brunk and Donald Ray Brunk and passed away on December 25, 2023 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was married to Carlene (Pendergrass) Brunk on July 24, 1993 in Liberty, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Westark College, a retired machinist for Rheem Manufacturing and a member of Bruton Lodge #30. He loved Nascar, building hotrods, Florida State Football and making things with his hands. Farron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
The family would like to give a special ‘Thank You’ to Lisa Ward and the Area Agency on Aging Hospice Team for the great care they provided.
Survivors are wife, Carlene of the home; son, Austin Brunk and Kayla of Muldrow, OK; daughter, Holly Hill and Monte of Lavaca, AR; grandchildren, Cadence and Clara Jane Hill and Hub and Adeline Brunk; mother, Sue Brunk of Muldrow, OK; sister, Connie Brunk of Muldrow, OK; niece, Tiffany Fricks of Van Buren, AR; nephew, Jonas Fricks of Muldrow, OK; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Active Pallbearers will be Manuel Kilgore, Tony Bledsoe, Johnny Brunk, Larry Dyer, Richard Huggins and Roy Hall.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Bruton Lodge #30 and the Men’s Group of Dora Assembly of God Church.
Viewing will be 10 AM – 3 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK. The family will greet 6 – 8 PM at Lee’s Chapel Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, OK.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bruton Lodge #30, P.O. Box 2093, Muldrow, OK, 74948.
