Funeral Service for Faye (Prewett) Norlander, 84, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 3, 1938 in Nicut, Oklahoma to Sylvia Armindia (Curl) Prewett and Marvin Maze Prewett and passed away on July 28, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Robert Michael Norlander on March 27, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was an educator for many years in Somerset, Wisconsin and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Survivors are:

husband, Robert Michael Norlander of Star Prairie, WI;

2 sons, Mark Norlander of Eagan, MN and Michael Norlander of New Brighton, MN;

1 granddaughter, Juniper Norlander of New Brighton, MN;

2 sisters, Joyce Vaughn of Tahlequah, OK and Margie Settlemyre of Broken Arrow, OK;

1 brother, Udell Prewett of Bakersfield, CA;

and numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Melba Elaine Prewett Lynn; and two brothers, Jimmie Harold Prewett and Clell Prewett.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
