Fern Henson

Funeral Service for Fern Henson, 89, of Roland, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Liberty Assembly of God Church in Liberty, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Liberty, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on November 22, 1934 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Delia Mae (Ballinger) O'Neal and Arthur James O'Neal and passed away on July 26, 2024 in Roland, Oklahoma. She was a retail clerk and of the Pentecostal faith. She loved to go to church, sing and read the Bible. She was a good cook and enjoyed homemaking.

Survivors are two daughters, Judy Garner and Rick of Mountain Home, AR and Donna Waldrop and Steven of Van Buren, AR; two sons, Tommy Weaver of Roland, OK and Timothy Henson and Cindy of Yukon, OK; six grandchildren, Joy McCawley, Rikki Corcoran, Christopher Waldrop, Aaron Waldrop, Luke Henson and Landon Henson; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Charlotte Ollar of North Carolina, Joyce Burcham of Roland, OK, and Farrell Johnson of Fort Smith, AR; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sharon Steen; one brother, Arnold O'Neal; and one grandson, Harold Rogers, Jr.

Viewing will be Noon - 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
