Funeral service for Florence Rene “Flossie” Brake, 69 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Trinity Holiness Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on December 7, 1949 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Dorothy (Long) Kirk and Jack Kirk and passed away on November 22, 2019 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Harlon Dale Brake on April 23, 1970 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Brake was a homemaker, former cook at Brushy Public Schools and former owner and operator of Eat N’ Time Restaurant

Survivors are:

Husband: Harlon of the home;

1 daughter: Michele Roberts and Craig of Vian, OK;

2 sons: Jeffrey Brake and Rachel of Sallisaw, OK and Mark Brake and Jackie of Tahlequah, OK;

15 grandchildren: Jacob Brake, Triston Brake and Nicki, Caleb Brake, Lanette Brake, Levi Brake, Alexander Brake, Grace Brake, Kirk Brake, Charlotte Brake, Decimus Brake, Nathan Roberts, Tray Roberts and Mariah, Addie Roberts, Hailie Brake and Hannah Brake;

1 sister: Andrea Roberts and Wayne of Sallisaw, OK;

1 brother: Tony Kirk and Bonnie of Marble City, OK;

several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister: Vicki Fox.

Active pallbearers will be Nathan Roberts, Jacob Brake, Tray Roberts, Triston Brake, Caleb Brake and Levi Brake.

Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Brake, Kirk Brake and Decimus Brake.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 pm Monday at Trinity Holiness Church in Vian, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
