Flossie Lee (Shepherd) Bell

Funeral Service for Flossie Lee (Shepherd) Bell, 90, of Moffett, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Moffett Public School Gymnasium in Moffett, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Flossie Lee (Shepherd) Bell was born on May 27, 1929 in Barling, Arkansas to the late Daisy Mae (Lincoln) Shepherd and John Henry Shepherd and passed away on January 29, 2020 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She received the Lord at an early age. She was a member of the Church of the Living God in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She loved to cook and blessed many people with many dishes. She was known for her lemon meringue pies, chicken dumplings, sweet pies, etc. Most of all she was a blessing. She proved a home and sense of family for so many. She began working for the late Dr. Eldon Pence and Betty Pence around 1975 and worked for their daughter, Michelle Harris, until she retired 2014.

She leaves to cherish her memories three sisters, Eunice Lee, Dovie Campbell and Dorothy Cruthird and one brother, Benny Shepherd, Sr. and Helen. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Her main mission on this earth was to raise three generations of children and four preceded her in death, Herbert Dean, Mary Cole, Doris Castleberry and Marvin Jones. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Lilly Bell, Wilma Mosley, Anna Mae Shepherd and Ruth Faye Jones and two brothers, Dave Shepherd and Isaiah Shepherd.

Active Pallbearers will be James Castleberry, James Barnum, Jr., Rodney Castleberry, Lester Armington, Chauncey Foster and Benny Shepherd III.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Benny Shepherd, Jr., Theodore Castleberry, Vernell Benton, Sylvester Carolina and Brad Releford.

Flower Girls will be Annetta Sanders, Jeanetta Henry, Lisa Youngblood, Jennifer Campbell and Linda Campbell Greene.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
