Funeral service for Floyd Lee Risley, 66 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Cremation and services are under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Floyd was born on November 14, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ruby Marie (Hougland) Risley and Guy Birttion Risley and passed away on June 18, 2021 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was married to Linda Lorene (Trammell) Risley on July 30, 1977. Floyd was a golf course maintenance worker and a carpenter. He loved music and was multitalented. He could play any instrument with strings but especially loved guitar and fiddle playing at family gatherings. He also had a talent of fiddle making. He finished making 20 fiddles for various family members and friends. He loved watching westerns and spending time with his family.

Survivors are:

wife: Linda Risley of the home;

4 daughters: Lisa Spencer and JD of Sallisaw, OK, Betty Nance and Rocky of Muldrow, OK, Beverly Smith and Ron of Trinidad, CO and Lynda Elkins and Gary of Vian, OK;

13 grandchildren: Elijah Coleman, Andrew Coleman, Eve Nance, Katelyn Farless, Dameon Smith, Megan Nance, Engel Smith, Aydreanna Elkins, Shirley Elkins, Seth Nance, Stacy Elkins, Floyd Spencer and Jaslyn Spencer;

1 great granddaughter: Eris Farless;

3 sisters: Viola Shelley of Vian, OK, Wynonia Cordray and Dennis of Vian, OK and Leona Armer and Darrell of Vian, OK;

3 brothers: Glenn Risley and Sally of Collinsville, OK, Clifford Risley and Tina of Tulsa, OK, and JT Risley and Judy of Drumright, OK;

1 brother-in-law: Gordon Queen of Vian, OK;

1 sister-in-law: Alice Risley of Collinsville, OK;

several nieces and nephews;

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister: Virginia Queen; 1 brother: Ray Risley; 1 niece: Sarah Torrance; 2 nephews: Dewayne Risley and Greg Shelly; and his best friend/brother: Bart Buttery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Elkins, Rocky Nance, Seth Nance, Floyd Spencer, JD Spencer, Andrew Coleman, Darrell Armer, Gordon Queen, Clifford Risley, Josh Risley, Bud Ross, Stacy Elkins, Elijah Coleman, Shane Buttery, Blake Buttery, Chad Buttery, Brett Buttery, JT Risley, Glenn Risley, Dennis Cordray, Carl Ortiz, Randy Harris and Ayden Ross.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday and 10 am – 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet6 – 8 pm Wednesday.
