Funeral Service for Frances Maxine Taylor, 95, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Webbers Falls Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on November 3, 1928 in Rossville, Oklahoma to Mary (Spradlin) Stewart and Andrew Stewart and passed away on April 2, 2024 in Gans, Oklahoma. She grew up around Wellston and Jones, Oklahoma. She raised her family in Choctaw and Webbers Falls, Oklahoma before moving to Gans, Oklahoma when her husband, Arthur Taylor, Jr., passed away. Frances loved to dance, crotchet, and work in the garden. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and tending her flowers, especially roses. Her homemade chicken and noodles were a family favorite. She loved her family, especially the babies. She lived a long, productive life and her family is comforted in knowing she is now dancing in Heaven with our Daddy.
Survivors are children, Kathy Rush of Muskogee, OK, Retha and husband Tommy Victory of Gans, OK, Jimmy Taylor and wife Katie of Webbers Falls, OK and Carol Jean and husband Darrell Brimm of Mustang, OK; seven grandchildren, Kristi McCoy, Jeremy Victory, Josh Taylor, Michele Victory, Joe Taylor, Jayme Howard, and Rachel Brimm; 17 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren; and our friend and wonderful nurse, Ashley Jiles.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Arthur Taylor, Jr; her father and mother, Andrew and Mary Stewart; four sisters, Georgie Sack, Audrey Ball, Evelyn Lohman, and Gertrude Bullen; and three brothers, Roland, Ralph, and Raymond Stewart.
Active Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeremy Victory, Josh Taylor, Joe Taylor and great-grandsons.
Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
