Funeral Service for Frank G. Sumpter, 83, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on September 14, 1938 in Marble City, Oklahoma to Anna Jane (Woodward) Sumpter and Elzy “Sonny” Gus Sumpter and passed away on February 15, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Louise (Casey) Sumpter on November 6, 1956 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a heavy equipment operator, truck driver, a supervisor for Enron Oil and a deacon of Blunt Baptist Church.

6 Grandchildren, Casey Sumpter of White Oak, TX, Kelli Clendening of White Oak, TX, Crystal Trevino of New Braunfels, TX, Rodney Markwardt of Aransas Pass, TX, Amanda McEuen of Van Alstyne, TX and David Sumpter of Dallas, TX;
14 Great-Grandchildren;
1 Brother, Larry Sumpter of Fort Smith, AR;
numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded by his daughter, Toni Louise Sumpter; parents; and three brothers, his twin brother, Elzy Dean Sumpter, Bobby Sumpter and Don Sumpter.
Active Pallbearers will be Shawn Trevino, Rodney Markwardt, Casey Sumpter, David Sumpter, Tristen Trevino, Trevor Trevino, Jackson Jowell, Wesley McEuen and Bryson McEuen.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Barry Spyers, John Vineyard, Jr Brannon, James Brown, Gene Casa, Jimmy Mack, Josh Bracket and Jackie Hester.
Viewing will be 4 – 8 PM Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM Saturday and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 4 – 6 Sunday.
