Funeral services for Frank Kusler, 83 of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gore, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on September 21, 1936 in Hillsboro, Iowa to Violet Marie (Roberts) Kusler and Frank Vaught Kusler and passed away on August 21, 2020 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was married to Joann Sires Kusler on March 6, 1955 in Choctaw, Oklahoma. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, a Heavy Equipment Operator for OG&E and a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gore, Oklahoma.
Survivors are:
wife: Joann of the home;
1 daughter: Deena Kusler of Tahlequah, OK;
1 son: Dwayne Kusler and Mae of Gore, OK;
5 grandchildren: Rachel Summerlin of Tahlequah, OK, Dianna Boston and Kenny of Lost City, OK, Daniel Kusler and Kassie of Ft. Smith, AR, Samuel Kusler and Sarah of Tulsa, OK and Jesse Smith of Broken Arrow, OK;
8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild;
2 sisters: Jan Hogan of Beebe, AR and Carolyn Kay Siegrist of Conway, AR;
2 brothers: Johnny Kusler of Midwest City, OK and Bill Kusler of Huntington, IN;
his adopted family: The Taylors;
several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Terry, Ricky and Bobby Kusler; and one sister, Wilda Marie Roberts.
Active Pallbearers will be Jimmy Taylor, James Jr. McCoy, Charles Bennett, Winford Brown, Kendal Coppin and John Remer.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Gilbert and Kenny Boston.
Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Monday at Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore, OK.
