Funeral Service for Frankie Jo Sparkman, 87, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Gans Cemetery in Gans, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Frankie Jo Sparkman, 87, of Muldrow, Oklahoma was born on January 27, 1936 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Helen Irene (Cornett) Woodward and William Everett Woodward and passed away on February 16, 2023 in Roland, Oklahoma. She was married to Rev. Charles Sparkman on June 25, 1954 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She ran a daycare in her home for over 30 years. She loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in any sports or activities they were involved in.

Survivors are husband, Rev. Charles Sparkman of the home; one daughter, Lisa Fox and husband, Jonathan, of Van Buren, AR; two sons, Charles “Mitch” Sparkman and wife, Tammy, of Muldrow, OK and Mark Sparkman and wife, Amy, of Van Buren, AR; son-in-law, Lea Lessley of Sallisaw, OK; 13 grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Leigh Ann Lessley; and her parents.

Active Pallbearers will be Beau Sparkman, Daniel Pixley, Tyler Miller, Kevin McGee, Danny Webb, Jack Sparkman, Gabe Miller, Dusty Baker and Aiden Sparkman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Hill, Bill Sagely, Dwayne Springwater, Freddie Brewer, Larry Merrill, Pat O’Bryan, Shannon Allen, Muldrow First Baptist Deacons, Bonnie Rogers Sunday School Class and Rev. Mark Porter.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 PM Sunday, 10 AM – 8 PM Monday and 10 AM – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM Tuesday.
