Fred Allenbaugh, age 76, of Gore, Oklahoma, passed away on February 18, 2025. Born on September 8, 1948, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, he was the son of Irene Lucille (Forbus) Carl Edward Allenbaugh. Fred's life was marked by love, service, and a passionate commitment to his family and community.

He married Jeanie (Hamilton) Allenbaugh on May 25, 1968, in Council Hill, Oklahoma. Together, they cultivated a loving home and created lasting memories. Fred graduated from Gore High School in 1966 and furthered his education at Connors State College, where he met Jeanie. He played both basketball and baseball, demonstrating his love for sports and camaraderie.

Fred graduated from Northeastern State University in 1970 and served in the National Guard. His professional journey included teaching and coaching basketball at Vian in 1970 and 1971. He later pursued a successful career in real estate and owned several businesses.

A devoted family man, Fred treasured his role as a grandfather. He was an enthusiastic supporter of his grandchildren, often attending their sporting events and cheering them on with great pride. A loyal fan of the University of Oklahoma, he enjoyed sharing his love for sports with those around him. Fred was also a familiar face at Love's, where he enjoyed his daily coffee.

His faith was an important aspect of his life, and he was a Deacon at Primitive Baptist Church in Gore.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Jeanie; two daughters, Caralee Gutierrez and Daniel of Muskogee, OK, and Christi Crawford and Ryan of Bixby, OK; and four cherished grandchildren: Regan Oaks of Siloam Springs, AR, Gabe Crawford, Caleb Crawford, and Thane Crawford, all of Bixby, OK. He also leaves behind one sister, Linda Nation and her husband Jim of Poteau, OK, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Chris Allenbaugh.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 11:30 AM at the Gore Event Center, with burial to follow at Gore Cemetery. Viewing will take place from noon to 8 PM on Monday at Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore, where the family will greet guests from 5 to 7 PM.

Fred's memory will be lovingly cherished by all who knew him.

 Active pallbearers will include Gabe Crawford, Thane Crawford, Caleb Crawford, Derek Nation, Trey Nation, Adam Allenbaugh, Seth Arnold, and Blake Starnes, with Charles Smith and Billy White serving as honorary pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
