Burial for Frederick Neal Forbus, 53 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at Barnoski Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 1, 1967 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Pauline (Smith) Forbus and Freman Forbus and passed away on January 8, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a general laborer and of the Christian faith.

Survivors are:

mother: Pauline of Sallisaw, OK;

sister: Lena Samuels of Lawrence, KS;

3 brothers: Daniel Smith of Spiro, OK, Verlin Smith of Sallisaw, OK and Ben Forbus of Sallisaw, OK;

numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Freman Forbus; and two brothers, Glen Forbus and Barney Wesley Smith.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Wednesday and 8 am – noon Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
