Garland Huff

Funeral Service for Garland Huff, 92, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 19, 1929 in Hanson, Oklahoma to Lillie Mae (Lessley) Huff and William Richard Huff and passed away on November 27, 2021 in Barling, Arkansas. He was married to Mary Jeannean (Ellis) Huff on November 29, 1946 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on August 26, 2018. He retired from Riverside Manufacturing in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Garland was a friend to many. He loved his family, he loved gospel music and he looked forward to Monday Morning Breakfast at the Four Star Restaurant with his friends.

Survivors are:

Daughter and son-in-law, Jan Sharp and husband, Roger, of Muldrow, OK;

Granddaughter, Dayla Brown and husband, David, of Muldrow, OK;

Grandson, Mark Sharp of Greenwood, AR;

He was blessed with 2 precious great-grandchildren, Trey Brown and Alyssa Grace Sharp;

Sister-in-law, Barbara Huff of Sallisaw, OK;

numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lillie Huff; one sister, Virginia “Sis” Pratt; and one brother, James “Book” Huff.

Active Pallbearers will be Heath Sharp, Scott Sharp, Brett Vann, Ronnie Vest, Larry Ellis and Jimmy Jackson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Junior Henry, Wayne Riggs, Cliff Brownly, Bill Rogers, Pat Huff, Rick Sharp, Dean Pratt, Gary Pratt, Ralph Pratt, David Ruark, Mike Huff, Gary Sharp, Ron Lockhart, James Nelson and A.J. Henshaw.

Viewing and Visitation will be 10 AM – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
