Funeral Service for Gary Cordale Prewett, 62, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on February 5, 1957 in Salina, Kansas to Phyllis Jean (Miller) Prewett and Bobby Eston Prewett and passed away on January 21, 2020 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was a self-employed mechanic and a mechanic for the City of Roland. Gary was the co-owner of Prewett Racing Products. He had a passion for dirt track racing that began at the age of 15 and raced street stock and modified during his time at the track. He played guitar and even wrote his own songs. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.

2 sons and daughter-in-law: Bobby Dale Prewett and Becky of Muldrow, OK and Dylan Prewett of Muldrow, OK
4 grandchildren: Kade Storey, Brianna Maines, Gracie Prewett and Jayce Prewett
parents: Bob and Phyllis Prewett of Muldrow, OK
sister and brother-in-law: Monica Gore and Gene of Muldrow, OK
1 niece: Gabrielle Gore of Muldrow, OK
2 uncles: Johnny Dale Prewett of Muldrow, OK and Danny Miller of Van Buren, AR
1 aunt: Ann Pike of Van Buren, AR
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bessie and Ocie Prewett and Nathalee Rachels; 2 uncles, Joe Prewett and Ernie Prewett; and 3 aunts, Faye Mathis, Pat Littleton and Ladonna Gail Miller.
Active Pallbearers will be Chance Asher, Brandon Coleman, Gene Gore, Kade Storey, Greg Prewett and Billy Wheeler.
Honorary Pallbearers will be competitors and friends of the dirt track racing community.
Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma where family will greet friends 6 – 8 PM.
