Graveside Service for Gary D. Cox, 77 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Brent Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 19, 1947 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Lillian (Dawson) Cox and Nicholas Edward Cox and passed away on April 7, 2025 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a dredge captain and owned and operated his own dredge.

Survivors are companion, Rosalie Montgomery of the home; two daughters, Faith Biggers and Milton of Hector, AR and Candace Cox of Sallisaw, OK; six grandchildren, John, Amanda, Nikki, Stephanie, Michael, Holly and Justice; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, JoAnn Forbes of Checotah, OK and Betty Keef of Pocasset, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, David Edward, Sr., Luther "Toby," Sherman, James, Cherry, and Charles "Butch" Cox; and four sisters, Juanita Moss, Vivian Green, Maxine Lewis, and Pansy Lee McFarland.

Viewing will be noon - 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
