Services for Gary Doyle Metheny, 77 formerly of Muldrow, OK will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Mr. Metheny was born on June 20, 1942 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Wynona (Owensby) Metheny and Calvin Dalton Metheny and passed away on August 12, 2019 in Newcastle, California. He loved going to adult day care that he called “going to school” and loved westerns, country music, people and Jesus.

Survivors are:

2 sisters: Sharon Kay Marr of Fort Worth, TX and Betty Ann Brewer of Newcastle, CA;

special nephew: David Nunez and Jenelle of Newcastle, CA;

uncle: Nolan Marr of Roland, OK

numerous other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents: Wynona and Winfred Marr, his father: Calvin Dalton Metheny and brother: Jim Metheny
