Funeral Service for Gary Lynn Byrd, 61, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 14, 1961 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Louise (Sevenstar) Hubbard and Johnny Byrd and passed away on August 24, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Brenda Gail (Byrd) Byrd on October 8, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He worked at OK Foods and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors are:

wife, Brenda of the home;

3 sons, Thomas Rowe and Miranda of Muldrow, OK, Joe Byrd and Jennifer of Roland, OK and Michael Byrd and Mariah of Fort Smith, AR;

12 grandchildren, Kyler, Talin, MiKiah, Zylin, Caden, Noah, Hailee, Tyra, Aerionna, Brysyn, Blaykley and Blazi;

3 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Asher and Ivy;

mother, Louise Hubbard of Nicut, OK;

2 brothers, Ronnie Byrd of Stilwell, OK and Leonard Thompson of Roland, OK;

2 sisters, Carolyn Byrd of Nicut, OK and Jessica Stafford of Clinton, OK;

and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Larry Byrd; and one granddaughter, Kori Byrd.

Active Pallbearers will be Thomas Rowe, Joe Byrd, Michael Byrd, Matt McKinney, Andrew Cole, Gary Foreman, Ronnie Youngblood, Jeremy Gilstrap, Vince Madden, David Shade and Carlos Sanchez.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 6 PM Saturday and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 2 – 4 PM Sunday.
