Services for Gary Wayne Malick, Sr., 69 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10 am on November 16, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on October 30, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Capietola (Neal) Malick and John Benton Malick and passed away on November 12, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Sandra Kay Gourly Malick on April 10, 1969 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a retired dispatcher for National Lumber and a U.S. Army veteran.

1 son: Gary Malick, Jr. of Sallisaw, OK

6 grandchildren: Benton Malick and wife, Keely, Cordell Malick, Kylie Malick, Christopher West, Kaneesa Brown and husband, Matt, Garret McWaters and wife, Fallon

8 great grandchildren and one on the way

1 brother: Roy Malick of Checotah, OK

1 sister: Pam Daniels of Sallisaw, OK

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Mary Clark, Peggy Daniels, Corene Finney, Carol McCalip and brothers: John Malick, Lonnie Malick and J.W. Malick

Active pallbearers will be Benton Malick, Gary Wayne Malick, Jr., Daniel McGarrah, Jim Summerlin, Garret McWaters and Cordell Malick.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Brackett, Harry Schneider, Sr., David Marshall, Dave Smith, Tommy Justice and Tommy Daniels.

Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Wednesday and 10 am – 8 pm Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Thursday.
