George Thomas Morgan, Jr.

George Thomas Morgan, Jr., a beloved member of the Sallisaw community, passed away at the age of 90 on February 10, 2025, in Roland, Oklahoma. He was born on November 6, 1934, in Cowlington, Oklahoma to Dollie (Baird) Eubanks Morgan and George Thomas Morgan, Sr.

He was married to Winnie Lou (Wilhite) Morgan on February 14, 1953, in McAlester, Oklahoma, and enjoyed many years together until her passing on December 16, 2010. Throughout his career, George worked as a union electrician, contributing his skills and expertise to many projects, earning the respect of his peers and those who knew him.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his daughter, Pamela Wilson, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Jordan Wilson of Stigler, Oklahoma, and Jadan Drake of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and one great-granddaughter, Charli Wilson. George is also remembered by several other relatives and a host of friends who cherished the time spent with him.

George was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Morgan and Richard Morgan; one grandson, Ryan Rowland; his parents; and two sisters, Susie Earls and Margaret Garrett.

A cremation service for George Thomas Morgan, Jr. is being conducted under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
