Gerrold Ray Mclaughlin

Graveside Services for Gerrold Ray McLaughlin, 77 of Greenwood, Arkansas will be at 10 am on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on March 10, 1941 in Ozark, Arkansas to Sula Mae (Mattox) McLaughlin and Fred McLaughlin and passed away on June 14, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He married Edith Louise (Barnes) McLaughlin on January 20, 1961. She preceded him in death. He was retired from Riverside and a manager at Peachtree Village.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Pinkbud Nursing Center who treated him like family for 9 years.

Survivors are:

3 daughters and sons in law: Peggy and Roy Foster of Hot Springs, AR, Rose and Allen Tedford of Roland, OK, and Betty and Lonnie Sandifer of Greenwood, AR

1 son and daughter in law: Gerrold and Emily McLaughlin of Witcherville, AR

6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren

6 nieces and nephews

1 sister: Grace Brown of Greenwood, AR

1 brother: Dr. Frank and Sue McLaughlin of Dardenne Prairie, MO

numerous other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith; granddaughter, Patricia Humphries; parents, Fred and Sula McLaughlin; sister and brother in law, Maxine and Tom Hicks; and nephew, Christopher Brown

Viewing will be Sunday from 4 – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK. The family will greet Sunday 4 – 6 pm at the funeral home.
