Cremation Service for Grover Cleveland Corbell, 78, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Burial of cremains will be at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

He was born on December 29, 1942 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Jewell (Jones) Corbell and Ross Corbell and passed away on August 13, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Carolyn Sue (Allen) Corbell on May 20, 1970 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Grover was a carpenter and of the Christian faith. He was a member of Carpenters Union 690 and loved fishing and working in the garden.

Survivors are:

wife: Carolyn Sue Corbell of the home;

2 daughters: Abby Corbell and husband, David Vaillancourt, of Oklahoma City, OK and Cheryl and Rodney Sewell of Indiana;

sister-in-law: Kathleen Corbell of Fort Smith, AR;

brother-in-law: Jess Lea of Greenbrier, AR;

2 sisters: Linda and Jim Brock of Fort Smith, AR and Barbara and Nick Matsoukas of Jacksonville, AR;

several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Otis and JT; and one sister, Shirley Lea.
