Harlen Vernie Seal, 76, of Sallisaw was welcomed into eternal glory on November 11, 2017 in Evansville, IN. He was born on September 25, 1941 in Stratford, OK to William Vernie and Evelyn F. (Swindle) Seal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernie and Evelyn Seal.
Harlan was a veteran of the US Navy, having received a medical discharge. Over the years, he excelled in a number of fields, but he loved trucking. He was an over-the-road driver for his own company, Rivertowne Express. He loved to watch westerns and the Shepherd’s Chapel broadcast. He enjoyed working with tractors, trucks, anything mechanical.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Angela of the home; his children, Katelyne and Wesley Seal of the home, Jesse Lee and wife Angela(Wells) of Alma; stepdaughters, Tina Lambert of Van Buren, Becky Correro of Alma and Casey Gann of Hackett; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his brothers, Jesse Seal and wife Joyce of Alma, Norris Seal and wife Barbara of Mountainburg, Joe Seal and wife Laura of Alma, Roy Seal and wife Rene of Shingletown, CA, and Greg Seal of Van Buren; his sisters, Lyn Miller and husband Bob of Fort Smith, Kathy Seal of Alma and Bonnie Miller and husband Ron of Mount Aukum, CA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends all across the US.
