Graveside Service for Harold Johnson, 86, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 22, 1935 in Keota, Oklahoma to Reba (Brewer) Johnson and Jim Johnson and passed away on September 12, 2021 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was married to Bernice (Clark) Johnson on March 7, 1953 in Tamaha, Oklahoma. Harold was a retired Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Deputy, Badge #827, after 37 years of service. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Vision of the Way Fellowship Church in Roland, Oklahoma. Harold also retired from Riverside Furniture. He was a hard working and honest man who believed in a firm handshake and a good name. He was a Christian man and loved the Lord. But most of all, Harold loved his family.

Survivors are:

wife: Bernice of the home;

daughter: Janet Will and John, of El Reno, OK;

3 sons: Jimmy Johnson and Nadine of Muldrow, OK, Steve Johnson and Terri of Fort Smith, AR and Roger Johnson and Veronica of Roland, OK;

numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren;

daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Johnson of Muldrow, OK;

son-in-law: Johnny Dick of Sallisaw, OK;

and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Loretta Dick; one son, Tommy Johnson; and his parents.

Active Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Steve Johnson, Roger Johnson, Tim Parrish, Lyndon Lewis and Johnathan Dick.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Department.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK.
