Harry E. Schaeffer

Harry E. Schaeffer was born on January 11, 1933 in Ruskin, Nebraska to Dina (Hespen) Schaeffer and Wallace Earl Schaeffer and passed away on August 31, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Harriett Jean (Byerly) Schaeffer on August 26, 1992 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a Medical Laboratorian and owner/operator of Lincoln Medical Laboratory, a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea and a Lutheran.

2 sons: Clinton and Jeffery Schaeffer of Denver, CO

2 step daughters: Jan Townsend of Sallisaw, OK and Julie Marmurek of Birmingham, AL

5 grandchildren: Raymond, Sarah, Djorn, Lyndsey, and Samantha

3 sisters: Helen Buckles of Deshler, NE, Bertha Christensen of Superior, NE, and Pauline Fisher of Kearney, NE

numerous other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Dina Schaeffer; grandchild, Adam; 1 brother, Eugene Schaeffer; and 2 sisters, Irene Davis and Mildred Schaeffer

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Roper and Sons Funeral Home in Lincoln, Nebraska. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
