Sending love and prayers to Heath’s family — especially his mother, Lynn. Heath was a great man and I know proud of him you were. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Dearest Lynn and family: I just learned of Heathie's passing (MY name for him ALWAYS) and my heart is so sad and heavy and HURTING!!!!! I'm SO THANKFUL and PROUD you were so gracious to share him with me and others!!!! A more fine, polite, "humorous, witty" young man Heathie couldn't have been!!!! Even since he was just a kid, he ALWAYS had that great huge grin flashed across his face and open arms to give me a hug, and a handshake and hug for Butch too!!!!! I'm certain you remember how "stunned" I was to learn of his health condition when I last visited with you; that in itself absolutely broke my heart!!!! I have "thought about" and prayed for ALL of you many times, and I'm deeply ashamed I didn't pick up the phone to call!!!! But, sometimes....people can't speak what's in their hearts without sounding awkward, and although I've never been at loss for words, I wouldn't have wanted to make you feel you must respond! Please know I love you ALL very very much and I'm sorry but I can't attend his service. Have eye infection and having to "guard" myself! I hate this, but I KNOW you'll understand! May God's "tender mercies" be with you, my precious, precious friend! This is a very difficult time, but PLEASE give him a kiss and hug from me....and I KNOW beyond doubt, Butch was one of the first to greet him when he passed over that river!!!!! He's home, forever healed and out roping!!!!! What a blessing to know that in ALL THINGS there's something beautiful to be found!!!!!! I love you dearly, and although I may not can be there, personally, but I surely am in spirit!!!! Linda Kay!!!!
