Graveside Service for Henry W. Dreadfulwater, 70, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Brent Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 15, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Georgia (Cochran) Hanks and Charley W. Dreadfulwater and passed away on March 1, 2021 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Kathy Ellen (Petree) Dreadfulwater on January 20, 1997 in Crawford County, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2021. He was a United States Army Veteran, a retired motor winder for Baldor Electric Company and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Henrietta Dreadfulwater of Sallisaw, OK and Stormie Champagne;

2 sons: Anthony Dreadfulwater and Destiny of Tucker, OK, and Dayton Dreadfulwater of Sallisaw, OK;

6 grandchildren: Aiyana Oliver, Charlotte Oliver, Tristan Oliver, Kelly Jordan Dreadfulwater, Tyson Jones and Cheyenne Champagne;

1 grandchild on the way: Lightning Statham Dreadfulwater;

2 brothers: Jess Dreadfulwater of Tahlequah, OK and Thomas Dreadfulwater of Tulsa, OK;

brother-in-law: Marvin Petree of Vilonia, AR;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; three brothers, Charles, Oliver Dean and Jerry “Sonny” Dreadfulwater; and one sister, Peggy Wilson.

Viewing will be 4 – 8 PM Tuesday and 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
