Hilda Jewell (Gayler) Butler

Funeral service for Hilda Jewell Butler, 91, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Eastside Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on March 18, 1929 in Blackburn, Arkansas to Fannie (Sebourn) Gayler and Henry Levi Gayler and passed away on June 22, 2020 in Roland, Oklahoma. She was married to Clarence Butler on May 20, 1965 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1999. She was a seamstress and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

1 son and daughter-in-law: Gary Butler and Rhonda of Muldrow, OK;

1 daughter and son-in-law: Darla Lockwood and Stewart of Roland, OK;

5 grandchildren: Haleigh, Miranda, Kaitlin, Kallie, Ledger and Trevor;

1 great-grandchild: Layla;

numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and her sister, Leta Groves.

Active Pallbearers will be Brant Followell, Joe Followell, Alan Clifton, Tony Lewis, Stewart Lockwood and Joe McDaniel.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM
