Hilton Fontaine Hixon

Graveside Service for Hilton Fontaine Hixon, 81, of Marble City, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Marble City Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Hilton was born on July 16, 1940 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Betty Alice (Martin) Hixon and James Edward Hixon and passed away on March 21, 2022 in Marble City, Oklahoma. He was married to Karen Kathlene (Lozano) Hixon on November 21, 1976 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Hilton was a salesman and problem solver for numerous oilfield companies, a firefighter, rancher and head of the plumbing and electrical departments for Sutherlands Lumber. He was a sheriff deputy, a business owner, a carpenter and a jack of all trades. Hilton was a United States Air Force Veteran and of the Catholic faith.

Survivors are:

wife, Karen of the home;

3 sons, John Hixon and Kasie of Bartlesville, OK, Michael Hope Hixon and Donita of Kansas, OK and Chris Hixon and Karen of Port St. Lucie, FL;

2 daughters, Heidi Beaty and Dan of Albuquerque, NM and Sherry Jennings and Matt of College Station, TX;

17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren;

brother, Frank Ed Hixon of Depew, OK;

sister, Gretchen Adams of Las Vegas, NV;

special cousin, Frankie Lee Hixon and Judy of Marble City, OK;

and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Active Pallbearers will be John Hixon, Michael Hixon, Chris Hixon, Zane Hixon, Gary Hixon, Kevin Hixon and Bobby Ardrey.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
