Funeral service for Howard Joseph Ross Bartholomay will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Roland, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Howard Joseph Ross Bartholomay was born October 14, 1990 in Alton, IL to Ross and Kelly (Harrell) Bartholomay. He was killed in a car accident on Monday, May 28, 2018 near his home in Jordan, MN.
Howard lived in several places during his life, including Alton, IL, Chieri, Italy (outside of Torino) and Sheldon, ND before moving to Roland, OK in 2000. He attended Roland High School, where he was the Salutatorian of his graduating class of 2008.
Howard attended the University of North Dakota and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He later transferred to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK where his love of music shone through his participation in the marching band playing the tuba. He also attended the University of Oklahoma where he pursued his passion for the sport of curling all the way to Collegiate Nationals.
Howard began working at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Fort Worth, TX in 2014 which opened up an opportunity to transfer to a facility in Shakopee, MN in 2016. Upon moving to Minnesota, Howard got highly involved in the Crusher CrossFit community in Waconia, MN. He looked forward to each workout, not only to better his performance, but build his relationships with the other members. He was also involved in teaching curling at the Chaska Curling Center.
Howard enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards and games at family gatherings. He loved to watch sports such as cycling, curling, European soccer league games, and was always open to teaching others all about them. Howard always had a smile and a joke ready, for friends, family, and strangers alike.
Howard is survived by his parents, Ross and Kelly Bartholomay of Muldrow, OK, a sister Meghan Jensen and husband Carl of Fort Worth, TX, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Howard was preceded in death by his Grandparents Joe and Marian Bartholomay, Grandparents Howard and Margaret Harrell, Uncle Bradley Martin, Uncle Steve Wallace and cousin Ann Bartholomay.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 2 – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow. The family will greet at 6 pm.
