Howard Owens

Memorial Service for Howard Owens, 80, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Notus Farmhouse in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on February 18, 1941 in Blackjack, Oklahoma to Nezzie Nola (Carter) Owens and James Sidney Owens and passed away on December 11, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Howard was an extremely hard worker whom could count on one hand the number of days missed from work. He was so diligent with his work, he continued up until the day of his stroke. After his recovery, he began working just as he did from before from the comfort of his wheelchair. As you can tell, his passion was painting. His family knows he is painting the pearly gates of Heaven. Howard was an amazing daddy, grandfather and friend to his large precious family. His love for his wife, Darlene, surpasses all. His selfless nature will be greatly missed by everyone who was honored to have them apart of his life.

Survivors are:

3 Daughters, Lisa Ann Owens of Las Vegas, NV, Rhonda Lynn Dalluge and husband, Kris, of Okemah, OK and Honesty Gail Owens of Muldrow, OK;

3 Sons, Tommy Jo Owens of Oklahoma, David Wayne Owens and wife, Misty, of Muldrow, OK and Johnny Lee Owens and Danica of Muldrow, OK;

Brother, Paul Owens and wife, Betty, of Moore, OK;

Sister, Carolyn Sue Owens of Oklahoma City, OK;

And several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers; and four sisters.
