Graveside Service for Hoyet Wayne Philpot, 72 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 9, 1948 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Lueveda Mae (Ball) Philpot and Charles Richard Philpot and passed away on December 4, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Philpot was former Sequoyah County Commissioner, county foreman, and a horse trader.

Survivors are:

3 sons: Robert Philpot and Bambi Phelps of Sallisaw, OK, David Philpot and Terrah of Sallisaw, OK and Randy Philpot and Regina of Sallisaw, OK;

10 grandchildren: Zachary, Heath, Trevor, Caleb, Nikolas, Emma, Jaden, Raileigh, Ashlynn and Audra;

6 great grandchildren: Braizlee, Brixlee, Layne, Maileigh, Ryder and Madison;

1 sister: Velma Moulder of Sallisaw, OK;

1 brother: Paul Philpot of Sallisaw, OK;

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Doris Phillips and brother: Charles Potsy Philpot, Jr.

Active Pallbearers will be Zachary Philpot, Health Philpot, Trevor Philpot, Caleb Philpot, Jaden Philpot and Mike Real.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday and 10 am – 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Wednesday in the chapel.
