Funeral Service for Inez T. Bridgewater, 87 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on September 27, 1934 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Lorena (Anderson) Turman and Andrew Franklin Turman and passed away on June 21, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to T.J. Bridgewater on January 5, 1955 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2005. Mrs. Bridgewater was a retired educator and member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors are:
Son, Thomas Bridgewater and Elaine of Sallisaw, OK;
Grandchildren, Brandie Bridgewater and Mark Friend of Munford, TN, Andrea Weber and John of Sallisaw, OK and Andrew Bridgewater of Sallisaw, OK;
Great grandchildren, Kiowa Coffman and Andrew Bridgewater, III;
Numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Adale Bridgewater; her parents; sister, Ruby Turman and brothers, Spy Lee, Claborn Lee, Virgil Turman and Carl Turman.
Active Pallbearers will be members of Sallisaw Police Department.
Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
