Issac C. 'Ike' Barrett

Memorial service for Issac C. “Ike” Barrett, 78, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 31, 1944 in Marble City, Oklahoma to Ada Mae (Hatter) Barrett and Andrew Jackson Barrett and passed away on October 1, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Oleta (Robertson) Barrett. He was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors are wife, Oleta; daughter, Kathy Lynn Trotter and husband, Perry, of Akins Community, OK; son, Glenn Wesley Barrett of Sasebo, Japan; step-son, Matt Bunnell and wife, Donna, of Pryor, OK; six grandchildren, Taryn Lynn Trotter, Dalton Perry Trotter and wife, Chancie May Trotter, Sarah Kate Trotter, Joseph Nathan Barrett, Jeffery James Barrett and Bailey Bunnell; two great-granddaughters, KeLee Lynn Curson and JoLee Paisley Curson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Margaret Cochran, Earnest Barrett and Gary Barrett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
