My heart is absolutely broken!!!! I'm just now learning of Ike's passing, so please ....Kathy, Glenn, Oleta....forgive me for just now acknowledging our loss. There's so many wonderful things I could say about Ike....I could write forever and NEVER get them all written, there's just NOT ENOUGH words! And the memories....Oh my, ALL the blessed memories we shared throughout a lifetime is the same as "all the wonderful things" I could speak of this precious soul. IKE BARRETT, the man and the soul of this precious human being represented so many many different models of LIFE to me! He was more than simply a close friend; he was FAMILY to me...he was...My brother, my confidant, my protectorate, my humorist... at so many times throughout our lives shared together which spanned several decades! I shall be forever eternally grateful THIS MAN gave me so much of himself and his family to me and mine! Although we hadn't seen each other in a while, I always knew IF I needed, truly needed anything, I could call upon Ike and he would help me, in trust, faith and honor of our ever abiding friendship and love for each other and our respective families. I hurt! Plain and simple, I'm heartsick over the passing and loss of my dear friend, Ike. Kathy, you know your dad would want me to do WHATEVER I could to help you, your little family, and likewise to Glenn, so please don't hesitate to call upon me! Praying for ALL of us who loved him dearly. I KNOW he will be missed by many, but none so much as us!!! I love you all!!!
