He was married to Sally Mae (Branum) Anderson on June 30, 2001 in Deer Creek, Oklahoma. He was a retired Aircraft Mechanic from the U.S. Air Force and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

wife: Sally of the home;

3 step-children: James Vaughn of Deer Creek, OK, Michael Vaughn of Choctaw, OK and Belinda Vaughn of Meeker, OK;

6 grandchildren: Torrie, Justin, Amber, Chris, Kiki and Jennifer;

4 great-grandchildren: William, Waylon, Emma and Colyn;

1 brother: Dalton Anderson of Lubbock, TX;

other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jackie Anderson; his parents; and three brothers, J.D., Junior and Claude Anderson.
