He was born on January 23, 1934 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Opal Philpot and passed away on July 28, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Wanese Wells Philpot on April 19, 1958 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was the owner/operator of Deans Barber Shop.
