Graveside services for Jack Shamblin, 79 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on June 19, 1943 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Bonnie Frances (Griffith) Shamblin and Vernie Tonie Shamblin and passed away on September 21, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Kaye (Rogers) Shamblin on August 8, 1964 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Mr. Shamblin was a retired supervisor for Borg Warner
Survivors are wife, Kaye of the home; two sons, Jacky Shamblin and Liz of Bella Vista, AR and Shawn Shamblin and Carry of Sallisaw, OK; chosen son, Poncho Mendiola of Sallisaw, OK; four grandchildren, Morgan Shamblin, River Shamblin and Asher Shamblin, all of Fayetteville, AR, Sydney Shamblin Beck and Bryce of Cornwall, Ontario; chosen grandchildren, Cade and Kyle Mendiola; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Shamblin; parents; sisters, Sue Fair, Sharon Myers and Phyllis Graham and brothers, Bob and Ray Shamblin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dale Bramlett, Mike Kennady, Jason Springwater, Dwayne Springwater, Joe Hill and Dean Moore.
Viewing will be 10 am – 6 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 4 – 6 pm Sunday.
