He was born on January 1, 1935 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Minnie and Jim Martin and passed away on January 8, 2023 in Roland, Oklahoma. He was married to Rama Faye (Henson) Martin on November 8, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on October 16, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Phillip Hogan, Jr. of Roland, OK; one granddaughter, Emily Brown of Fort Smith, AR; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded by his wife; parents; one sister, Betty Ragsdale; and one brother, Jimmy Martin.
Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 5 – 7 PM.
