Funeral service for Major James C. Patterson, USA, Ret., 84 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on June 30, 1935 in Ridgeway, Missouri to Delores Ruth (Gleason) Patterson and Thomas James Clifford Patterson and passed away on March 22, 2020 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Gloria Sue Patterson on November 24, 1995 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on May 18, 2015.

Survivors are:

daughters: Stephanie Ebert and Craig of Sallisaw, OK, Michelle Patterson of Clearwater, MN and Shannon Lynch of Braham, MN;

grandchildren: Brandon Anderson and Becky, Justin Anderson and Ginger, Andrew Oelman and Yumi, Devin Diedrich, Carley Lynch and Logan Lynch;

great grandchildren: Connor and Dakota;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and sister: Patricia.

Viewing will be 10 am – 4 pm Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
