He was born on January 29, 1971 in Rockford, Illinois to Sheila Ann (Benson) Cheney and Ronald Cheney and passed away on September 1, 2021 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was married to Cassandra (Brown) Cheney on March 14, 1994 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Cheney was the former Marble City Police Chief.

Survivors are:

wife: Cassandra of the home;

2 daughters: Krystal Primm and Jason of Sallisaw, OK and Angel Cheney of Columbia, MS;

2 sons: Jonathan Cheney and Emilie of Sallisaw, OK and Eugene Shinn of Colorado;

16 grandchildren: Kirenna, Kailyn, Aiden, Jenna, Marshall, Maliki, Xena, Bryson, Caidean, Adalynn, Jacquelynn, Weston, Huntar, Stephen, Penelope, Lykan and Sophia;

2 sisters: Dawn Norman and Lee of Mesa, AZ and Tammy Cary and Mike of Darien, WI;

1 brother: Keith Cheney and Janie of Sallisaw, OK;

4 brothers-in-law: David Schindlar of Stilwell, OK, Matthew Brown of Sallisaw, OK, Patrick Brown and Kaylah of Sallisaw, OK and Freddy Brown and Carrie of Oklahoma City, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, sister: Kim Cook, brother: Randy Cox, niece: Alicia Brown, father-in-law: Freddie Brown and brother-in-law: Josh Brown.

Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Saturday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 4 – 6 pm.
