James Giles

Services for James “Jim” Giles will be at 2 pm on December 20, 2017 at Church of Christ in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc..

Active Pallbearers will be Kenny Lewis, Bobby Teal, David Churchman, Freddy Fisher, Jimmy Sanders, and Casey Ross.

Viewing will be Tuesday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

James “Jim” Calvert Giles, 74 of Vian, Oklahoma passed away on December 17, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on July 3, 1943 in Gatlin, Tennessee to Ethel (Calvert) Giles and Ocie Giles. He was married to Joyce (Forbes) Giles on in . He retired as Branch President of Armstrong Bank in Vian and was the chairman of the Blackgum Volunteer Fire Department and Charter member of the Ebenezer Hunting Club in Warren, AR. Jim attended college at ASU in Jonesboro, AR and graduated from LSU School of Banking in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a Member of Sallisaw Church of Christ.
