James H. Martin

Celebration of Life for James H. Martin, 82 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

He was born on July 9, 1937 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Mollie (Hines) Martin and Jim Martin and passed away on March 2, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Linda (Morey) Martin on September 26, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Martin was educated in Brushy Schools and graduated from Sallisaw High School. He graduated from Connors State College and received his Bachelors Degree from Northeastern State University. He owned and operated many businesses during his lifetime. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and mentor.

Survivors are:

Wife: Linda M. Martin of Sallisaw, OK;

3 daughters and sons in law: Melissa and Scott Lowe of Sallisaw, OK, Karla and Carl Hubbard of Roland, OK and Vicky and Brian Forde of New Mexico;

2 sons and daughters in law: James Michael and Vicki Martin of Tulsa, OK and Jay and Kristin Peerson of Sallisaw, OK;

12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren;

He was preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Mollie Martin and 2 sisters: Loyce Woodward and Florence Sparks.
