James June Bug Johnson

Graveside service for James “June Bug” Johnson, Jr., 68 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on March 29, 1952 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Lucy (Glass) Johnson and James Samuel Johnson and passed away on October 28, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Andrea Jean (Johnson) Johnson on January 6, 1973 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Johnson was a factory worker, truck driver and attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors are:

wife: Angie of the home;

2 sons: Nick Johnson and Ashley of Sallisaw, OK and Sammy Johnson and Janesse of Sallisaw, OK;

3 grandchildren: Mason Johnson, Addison Johnson and Makayla Rolston;

3 sisters: Gracie Kitchens of Alabama, Margaret Johnson of Kentucky and Aileen Johnson of Tulsa, OK;

5 brothers: Amos Johnson and Pat of Sallisaw, OK, Everett Johnson of Sallisaw, OK, Charlie Johnson of Sallisaw, OK, Jesse Johnson and Claudia of Tulsa, OK and Bill Johnson and Biggi of Tulsa, OK;

other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers: Mandy, James Leo, George and Jim Henry Johnson.

Viewing will be 3 – 8 pm Thursday and 10 am – 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
