He was born on July 22, 1949 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Patsy Ophelia (Mynahan) Stephens and Oscar Louis Stephens and passed away on March 5, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Stephens was a sheet rocker.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Cara Stephens of Sallisaw, OK;

1 step-daughter: Barbie Sumpter of Sallisaw, OK;

5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild;

4 sisters, Jerri Crow of Sallisaw, OK, Debi Denley of Sallisaw, OK, Tonya Stephens of Sallisaw, OK and Karen Fargo of Gans, OK;

2 brothers, Dan Davenport of Muldrow, OK and Mike Stephens of Sallisaw, OK;

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Joey Stephens and Jeffrey McGee; his parents; and one brother, O.L. Stephens, Jr.
