He was born on August 20, 1950 in Clayton, OK to Mary Lou Prater Phillips Peebles and Marvin Odean Phillips and passed away on January 17, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Judy Hendrix Phillips on December 24, 1971 in Muldrow, OK. He worked in the furnace room in Baldor Electric and Ft. Smith Stockyards.
